If consumers weren't willing to pay for that customized product - it wouldn't be selling.

Jacqueline Oddo
President
www.taylorsbaby.comTaylors Babyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18017560827933573984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1295476677294926871.post-55074889080534010732007-06-02T10:10:41.569-05:002007-06-02T10:10:41.569-05:00Wow, Sarah, seems like someone has their knickers ...Wow, Sarah, seems like someone has their knickers in a knot over your post. I couldn't believe it at first so i clicked on the link. I read the page to find out the seat cover- which is not to mention, a beautiful custom handmade seat, that is made from high quality fabrics- is only written as $255.00. Jaqueline is right, you shouldn't single out one website for this because I have seen other websites carrying the same item for the same price of $225.00.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1295476677294926871.post-49115484299889020312007-06-03T23:17:54.853-05:002007-06-03T23:17:54.853-05:00Jaqueline and anonymous, you both need to calm dow...Jaqueline and anonymous, you both need to calm down and get a sense of humor. I looked at the site, before it was CHANGED, and it did in fact say $225,000, which Sarah was obviously poking fun at. Or are you defending that price, Jaqueline?
The seat cover is quite cute and probably worth the $225 to many, many people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1295476677294926871.post-90851072486248099062007-06-04T07:45:53.784-05:002007-06-04T07:45:53.784-05:00Ms. Oddo,$225,000 is FAR too much to charge for a ...Ms. Oddo,

$225,000 is FAR too much to charge for a car seat cover, unless that happens to be real giraffe fur. This is a blog, not a business, and if you can get over yourself for a minute, the original post didn't denounce your site, make fun of you personally, or do anything to create the outrageous reaction that has ensued. Heck, it didn't even name your business. You need to be able to laugh at yourself a little, and also to say (in the beginning, not after the fact), 'Hey, my bad, it was a typo...'

Like so: The link I put above to Pink Taffy (with whom I have no affiliation) DID show a lower price of $195, but as anonymous so courageously and diligently points out, it's the same price...? In fact, it's 99 cents cheaper at the originally mentioned site...

But seriously, let it go already...this is a fun blog, and while it could have easily been a laugh for all, you included, you had to make it ugly, and only God knows why.

Sheesh...jonhttp://www.pinktaffydesigns.com/product_info.php?products_id=2388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1295476677294926871.post-39613450151873339102007-06-04T12:29:16.428-05:002007-06-04T12:29:16.428-05:00In response to Jacquenline:Um....wow.I'd love ...In response to Jacquenline:

Um....wow.

I'd love to take this opportunity to encourage everyone: Shop taylorsbaby.com!

*laughing my ass off*

Who knew this would be my most popular post ever?????

Now let's take a vote: Letterman it, or not?sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09225256808793168064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1295476677294926871.post-43429941655285855032007-06-04T13:14:15.850-05:002007-06-04T13:14:15.850-05:00Sarah,Some people just can't say "oops, I...Sarah,
Some people just can't say "oops, I made a mistake". Your original post didn't single anyone out, just provided a link. The woman that owns the place needs to get a grip. It's not like you're a rival or anything.
