ReplyDeleteCan't wait to start it!!

Love it! I've got some lovely drapey cotton in the stash that is perfect for this. Now if I only had the 'time' in the stash.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm really liking this one! I was thinking it might be a good one to use up my Summer Tweed stash - but I have a cotton glace one too; Hmmm, how to decide?
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I can't wait to get some yarn for it. Fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteI love this sweater! i'm always looking for something close to a kimono! it's beautiful! and even better you made it with yarn that many knitters snub. i love it!
ReplyDeletethank you so much!
I love it! Very very nice. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. I love it both as a pattern to make as shown, but also as a basic construction shape to use in designing other tops.
ReplyDeleteThank you also for trying not to be a yarn snob. In England, we do not get the wide variety of yarns that you seem to get Stateside, and most yarns within my budget are acrylics, acrylic mixes or cottons. It can be daunting to start a project for a pattern in some gorgeous pure silk/alpaca/wool, and try and replicate it in my local 'pound shop' (which I think is the same as your thrift shop) acrylic yarn.
Please keep designing.

fabulous, seester, just fabulous! (is this one of the ones you had to make two of?= )
ReplyDeleteSarah,
ReplyDeleteI love your pattern! I just printed it off and can hardly wait to cast on! It looks like it could easily become an absolute favourite and thank you for being one of a rare breed of designers that doesn't think it absolutely necessary to use yarns that are going to break the bank! Me and my very tight budget thank you profusely!!!!
I love your pattern! I can't wait to make one :)
ReplyDeleteI love this pattern. I lost my knitting mojo about three months ago and haven't knitted since then. Thanks to this pattern, baby, I'm baaack.;o)
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful garment! I can't wait to get started!
ReplyDeleteI might actually find the courage to knit my very first garment, with this pattern! I'm plus size, too, so glad those sizes are listed! I'm wary of the bigger sizes maybe having too much at the side under arm, but I'd guess that when it was being "tested" by people they would have seen if that was the case?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pattern! Thank you for making it available through MagKnits, I'm off to my LYS to get some stash!
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for commenting on my blog! You are the first designer to comment. It means a lot that you like it! The recipient was tickled with it, too. I had a great time making it and am thinking of making another Stafford for myself. I may have to make myself Stargazer first! :)
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to thank you for your pattern in MagKnits. I echo others when I say I'm so pleased this style will flatter my "shape". And your choice of yarn is great! I have to manage my yarn budget and finding quality patterns with less expensive yarns is awesome! Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a beautiful design!
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteThanks for designing this pattern and submitting it to Magknits! The construction is ingenious, and it looks extremely flattering, even for more "plus-sized" ladies like me:-)
ReplyDeleteI have some Katia Espiga (an affordable Dutch cotton-acrylic blend) which is the perfect yarn for it, I think, and I'm going to cast on soon!
thank you for this pattern, I'm french and I'll try to translate the pattern.
ReplyDeleteHey, i was going to start knitting this, but unfortunately your site magknits.com is offline. Is there any way to get the pattern, darn, I should have saved it.
