Next up, another golf club cover! This one features an easy mosaic stitch that looks much more complicated than it actually is!
For those unfamiliar with mosaic stitch, it is a two-color knitting technique that only uses one color per row; the second color of stitches are slipped from the row before, creating an interesting fair-isle effect!

Sarah.. I need your help immediately. I want to make the Egyptian club cover big enough to cover a man's driver ( Big Bertha). and want to use this pattern. Will this fit.. or should I use a larger need.e. i.e a 6 for the sock and an 8 or 9 for the top. please get back to me asap.. ( also I am going to GBOY this weekend.. that is how I found you in the first place.. ) I live in sarasota

Hi Sara -- I am a beginner knitter and am making the Egyptian Staircase patterned golf club covers. The question I have is this: I have knitted the 6 inches of the rib and am starting to purl the one row before I begin the staircase pattern. When I purl the row with the beige yarn, do I carry the pink yarn through the entire row and then begin the pattern? Thanks for your help!
